Quixotic Explorations in Photographic Art and Science

'Hope'
November, 2008

For eight years this website has been devoted to volunteer appreciation.  It has been a wonderful eight years.  I have shared in the stories and accomplishments of hundreds of committed and selfless volunteers.  Once again, 'Thank you'.

But, this season of life is coming to a close for me.  I have been fighting carpel tunnel and it has become very hard to hold a paint brush for long enough periods of time to finish a new print.  And, my old faithful card printer has come to the end of its production life.  I have decided not to replace it.

I will be turning full time to my research and work with handcrafted silver gelatin emulsions, but I hope to continue sharing my handcolored work through fundraising auctions.

The very best to you all,

Denise
